Do Not Drink … Play!

[ English ]

If you like to have a drink from time to time, keep your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your wallet, and leave all cash, credit cards and checks at home. Pack only the money you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and whatever pocket change you expect to squander and keep the rest behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well experience a win following a drunken night out with your comrades and be lucky enough to catch a marathon toss at a on fire craps table. Don’t forget that adventure considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink and wager. The two just don’t go well together.

Keeping your money back at the hotel might be a tiny bit excessive, but precautionary measures for drastic behavior is necessary. If you wager to win, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to burn your money without a worry, then consume all the gratis booze you can handle, but do not carry charge cards and checks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your befuddled brain loses all the cash!

Permit me to take this 1 step further. do not consume alcohol and then jump on the internet to gamble in your favorite internet casino either. I love to beverage from the coziness of my condo, but seeing that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards near by, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.

How come? Even though I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I drink, it is absolutely sufficient to cloud my common sense. I bet, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet when you do. When mixed, both create a ferocious, and expensive, cocktail.
